We’re delighted to share the PSR Social Value Annual Report 2025, covering the 2024–2025 fiscal year.  During this period, we recorded over £40M in evidenced social value, bringing our total to over £100M since adopting the Thrive social value reporting platform.

We’ve embedded Social Value as standard and every initiative reported tells a story of real impact: lives changed, opportunities created and communities supported. From supporting candidates through initiatives like the Guaranteed Interview Scheme, Recruit, Train, Deploy and the PSR Skills Academy, to engaging suppliers, running DEIB training, volunteering and facilitating social value moments — every action matters.

As part of our ongoing commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) and our wider Social Value programme, we provide quarterly DEIB webinar training for all PSR team members, focusing on key topics that empower our teams to better support individuals at every stage of the recruitment journey – from application to onboarding.

On the 9th of October we hosted a dedicated training session on Domestic Abuse for our candidate and worker facing teams, to deepen understanding, its impact and how colleagues can support those affected. Led by Debbie Bishop, Senior Manager within AMS and member of the AMS’s Domestic Abuse Workstream, the session combined professional insight with lived experience.

We’re delighted to share the executive Summary from the final chapter in our Future of Workforce & Talent Series 2025 – Practical Solutions for Building Resilient Workforce Strategies.

This closing session brought together senior leaders from across the public and private sectors to explore how organisations are tackling workforce challenges with practical, forward-looking solutions.

The focus: what it really takes to build a resilient, adaptable workforce – not just in theory, but in practice. From moving beyond headcount-driven planning to embedding skills-based strategies, the discussion showcased data-led approaches already making an impact.

Key themes included:

• Planning for long-term capability, not short-term numbers
• Integrating contingent labour into core workforce strategies

Now in its second year, the PSR Diversity Data Benchmarking Report compares PSR contingent worker data with national benchmarks including figures from the Office for National Statistics, Civil Service permanent staff, and anonymised data from a private sector comparator.

The report also breaks down insights across key sectors such as Engineering, Admin & Clerical, and Tech & Digital. This year, PSR’s Social Value Manager, Charlotte Williams, joined Diversity Specialist Natalie Taylor and partners from the AMS Diversity & Inclusion Alliance for an engaging discussion on the key takeaways from the latest data.
