Social Value
AMS is proud to lead the delivery of the PSR framework with a clear vision: to embed social value into everything we do and demonstrate our commitment across the framework. Our action-oriented Social Value Plan delivers measurable outcomes for all stakeholders - from Crown Commercial Service, customers, and suppliers to employees and the wider workforce. At PSR, we see commercial success and social impact as interwoven; by embedding social value into our operations, we enrich client organisations, strengthen our own, drive innovation, support communities, and create long-term sustainable success.
How We Make a Difference
We’ve developed a plan which outlines our priorities, levers for change, actions and initiatives and next steps.
Our mission is to leverage our extensive experience to maximise social value across the framework by combining AMS goals with the priorities and focus areas of our customers, ensuring alignment with the Missions, Outcomes, and MACs of the UK Social Value Model and UN Sustainable Development Goals.
And we’re not stopping there.
We review our plan annually to ensure it continues to meet society’s ever evolving needs, creating an annual roadmap of activity and enhancements in collaboration with our supply chain partners to ensure our programme grows and adds value year after year.
We will continue to make a positive impact on the world around us.
We strive to deliver a service that embeds, delivers, and demonstrates our commitment to Social Value, achieving tangible and quantifiable value for Crown Commercial Service, our customers, suppliers, AMS employees and our workers.

PSR Social Value Plan 2025-2026
We’re pleased to share our Social Value Plan for 2025 – 2026
The refreshed plan outlines our priorities, initiatives, and roadmap for delivering social value in the year ahead. It aligns with the latest Social Value Model and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, ensuring we remain focused on delivering meaningful, measurable impact.
Over the last two fiscal years (2023–2025), we’ve facilitated over £100 million in social value — supporting our customers, suppliers, partners, and workers to create stronger, more resilient communities.
This plan reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering social value with purpose, accountability, and transparency.
PSR Social Value Annual Report 2025
We’re delighted to share the PSR Social Value Annual Report 2025, covering the 2024–2025 fiscal year. During this period, we recorded over £40M in evidenced social value, bringing our total to over £100M since adopting the Thrive social value reporting platform.
We’ve embedded Social Value as standard and every initiative reported tells a story of real impact: lives changed, opportunities created and communities supported. From supporting candidates through initiatives like the Guaranteed Interview Scheme, Recruit, Train, Deploy and the PSR Skills Academy, to engaging suppliers, running DEIB training, volunteering and facilitating social value moments — every action matters.
PSR Diversity Data Benchmarking Report 2025
Now in its second year, the PSR Diversity Data Benchmarking Report compares PSR contingent worker data with national benchmarks including figures from the Office for National Statistics, Civil Service permanent staff, and anonymised data from a private sector comparator. The report also breaks down insights across key sectors such as Engineering, Admin & Clerical, and Tech & Digital. This year, PSR’s Social Value Manager, Charlotte Williams, joined Diversity Specialist Natalie Taylor and partners from the AMS Diversity & Inclusion Alliance for an engaging discussion on the key takeaways from the latest data.
The AMS Diversity & Inclusion Alliance
We have formed a diverse collaboration forum to ensure we’re making positive changes around diversity and inclusion. The alliance brings together diversity partners who are all driving change in their respective fields.
Our goal:
To pave the way for positive change by increasing the diverse representation in our customers’ workforces and opening more doors for underrepresented talent.
The benefits:
Removing barriers to underrepresented talent as well as bringing DEI thought leadership, best practice and market data.
