HMRC approached PSR in April 2023, to support the supply of 800 Customer Service Advisors to meet the demands for the HMRC contact centres. This involved a rapid response to recruit these workers within 6 weeks.
Brook Street set up a project team led by account manager and bolstered by the new Volume Recruitment specialists based out of London and Glasgow.
We identified existing talent pools within Brook Street and launched a National advertising campaign to attract new talent and used the TIFO onboarding platform to simplify and enhance the candidate experience.
Brook Street submitted 1.5 candidates per 1 vacancy in order to protect against dropouts and this was monitored on weekly project calls. The end result was having 805 workers start within the 6-week period, all in situ by the 31st of May.
